COMPOSERS

ETHAN ANDERSON

Ethan Anderson was raised in northern Minnesota until he traveled the United States in a motorhome for eight years. His love for music began after watching “The Polar Express”, where he discovered the wondrous music of Alan Silvestri. This inspiration lead him to start composing at the age of just fourteen. Even though Ethan was not a formally trained musician, he discovered a way to compose intuitively as he transferred his ideas to the page.

Since 2019, Ethan has studied composition with his mentor, renowned composer Chris Pilsner. Together they have revealed how Ethan had a natural talent for composing and, since, he has been refining his craft into something truly meaningful to himself and those around him.

Ethan is heavily inspired by the film scores of John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Bear McCreary, Micheal Giacchino, and more. Because of this influence, his music revolves around a strong sense of me
