NOTE FROM COMPOSER

I love composing lyrical music, but none so innocent as Eventide. For its entire duration, I wanted this little work to reflect a child’s gentle nature he/she falls asleep and dreams of wondrous things beyond our own reality. The melody is lullaby-like by design, and the harmony has a pureness and uplifting quality that reflects the innocence of each moment.

Purposefully, the work ends unresolved, as much of our dreams end the same fashion; disappearing into a world of dreams as we fall back into slumber.
